LegalPRO Systems, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) maintains this Privacy Policy to describe our practices regarding personal data that we may collect through our web site (“Site”) and software products (“Software”). We update this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please check back regularly for any updates. By using the Site or the Software, you acknowledge your consent to the practices described herein.

  1. Personal data we collect

a. Information you give us

In order to use our Software and features of our Site, we may ask you for certain personal data (e.g. contact information, name, etc.) related to your request. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask for your name and email address when you fill out our contact form. If you purchase Software from us, we ask you to provide certain personal and financial information which is required to fulfill your request. In each case, we only collect such information as it relates to the purpose of your interaction with us.

b.  Web server logs

As is true of most websites today, we gather certain information automatically through your use of the Site. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring or exit pages, the files viewed on the Site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site.

c.  Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the Site, track users’ movements around the Site, and gather demographic information about our users. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. d.  Information collected by our customers

Our customers may collect personal data in connection with the Software we provide to them. Our customers control the personal data they collect, and we will not use or disclose that personal data except as authorized or directed by that customer. If your personal data is controlled by one of our customers, and you have concerns about the way that data is managed or wish to exercise your rights with respect to such data, please contact our customer directly.

  1. How we use personal data

We will only use the personal data we collect as reasonably necessary for the following purposes:

(i) to allow you to use and interact with the Site;

(ii) to provide the Software to you as our customer;

(iii) to guide our ongoing development of the Site and the Software;

(iv) to respond to your requests for information;

(v) as required by law or legal requirements pertaining to records retention or for internal administrative purposes; or

(vi) as authorized by you in writing.

  1. Disclosure to third parties

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties except as follows:

We remain responsible for compliance with this Privacy Policy by third parties to whom we disclose your personal data.

  1. How we protect personal data

We have put in place reasonable measures and appropriate procedures for implementing these policies and for safeguarding the personal data we collect. However, we cannot guarantee that personal data we collect will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

  1. Your rights over personal data that we control

Upon request, we will provide you with reasonable details regarding your personal data that has been collected by us or which is under our control. (We do not control the data collected and stored by our customers.) If you wish to change or delete personal data under our control, please contact us as described at https://legal-pro.com/contact-us/. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may retain your personal data if reasonably required to meet the purposes described herein or to the extent required by law, to comply with our legal obligations, or to resolve disputes or enforce our legal rights.

  1. If you’re a California Resident

This Section addresses the rights and our obligations of residents of the State of California under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) as amended. Terms used in this Section have the same meaning as provided in the CCPA.

Information We Collect

Our Site and Software collect certain personal information as described above in Section 1. For purposes of CCPA, note that personal information does not include publicly available information or de-identified or aggregated consumer information, such as the type collected in standard web log files.

Use of Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect for the business purposes described above in Section 2.

Sharing Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information as described above in Section 3.

Sales of Personal Information

We do not and will not, nor allow our suppliers to, sell your personal information.

Exercising Your Rights

You have the rights described above in Section 5. Specifically, you have the right to request deletion of any personal information that we collect and control. We may deny your deletion request if necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:

  • Complete the transaction for which we (or a customer) collected the personal information.
  • Comply with a legal obligation or exercise a legal right.
  • Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.

Response Timing and Format

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable.
