Official Forms and Means Test NumbersMany of the Official Bankruptcy Forms have been updated to reflect new amounts which take effect April 1, 2013. The Federal Bankruptcy exemptions will also change on that date.  There are new median income amounts taking effect on April 1, 2013 as well.   All these changes will show up when the filing date in your case or the date on your computer is April 1, 2013 or later.  The updated Official Bankruptcy forms are:

  • B1 — Voluntary Petition
  • B6C — Schedule C
  • B6E —Schedule E
  • B7 — Statement of Financial Affairs
  • B10 — Proof of Claim
  • B22A — Statement of Current Monthly Income and Means Test Calculation (Chapter 7)
  • B22C —Statement of Current Monthly Income and Calculation of Commitment Period and Disposable Income (Chapter 13)
  • B283 —Chapter 13 Debtor’s Certifications Regarding Domestic Support Obligations and Section 522(q).  These are found on the Misc. tab when you click on the Print Icon in BankruptcyPRO

In addition to these required changes, we have updated the exemptions for all states in BankruptcyPRO®.  This will clear your default settings and you’ll need to set them again, but only one time.  Learn how to set default exemptions here.

We have also made a correction to the Austin, Chapter 13 Plan regarding the deadline for filing objections to confirmation.

You can now send invitations from the Start Fresh Today dialog using the Actions button.

AND, for those of you whose clients suddenly disappear off the list of cases because someone inadvertently changed the name, we have added the ability to search by the last four digits of the social security number so they can’t hide for long!
