Q.: What does your software do?

A.:  LegalPRO Systems, Inc. produces three programs primarily focused on helping the bankruptcy practitioner focus on the legal aspects, rather than the computer aspects of a bankruptcy practice.

Our BankruptcyPRO® program produces the official bankruptcy forms and converts them to PDF files for electronic filing. Data entry is easy and intuitive. The program handles all the necessary calculations. There is a built-in word processor/merge capability as well for internal forms (e.g., retainer agreements, letters to clients, etc.).

Our DoingTIME® program is designed to handle time-keeping and billing. It can prepare monthly statements, fee application exhibits and many other management reports.DoingTIME® is not limited to bankruptcy. It can be used in any type of practice. DoingTIME® can be linked with BankruptcyPRO® or operate separately.

Our third program is I-Got-Notices®I-Got-Notices® helps you manage the multitudes of email you get from the court, grabs the free look PDF documents automatically and stores them on your computer, recognizes the dates in the notices for easy calendaring, and tracks the addresses from the proofs of claims notices received in I-Got-Notices®. So your staff (or you) can actually spend time on your cases rather than saving the PDF files, and your PACER bill will drop dramatically.

Q.: Why are you the best choice?

A.: Our programs are excellent and our support is stellar.

Q.: Can I get just the chapters I need?

A.: Yes. With BankruptcyPRO®, the Chapter 13 pricing is based upon whether we have programmed your local plan. However, once you have licensed the appropriate version, all the Chapter 13 plans we have programmed will be available to you at no extra charge. Changing your license is all done with codes, so there is no need to uninstall to add chapters or users. You will just pay the difference to upgrade your license to your new desired configuration. When you get a new unlock code, and your new capability appears.

Q.: How do I purchase your software?

A.: You can order online, but you will need to talk to a human to pay by credit card. We don’t take them on our website. The turnaround on credit card payments is very quick. So you can place your order, give us your payment and get unlocked all within a very short time period — often less than an hour.

Q.: How often do you update your software?

A.: We don’t have a set schedule for updates, but we’re always up to something. Of course, BankruptcyPRO is updated whenever the forms change or the means test numbers change, but we do take requests for new features and try to provide the most useful features. We generally recommend you check for updates no less often than every two weeks. That way you’ll have the latest version and all the newest “stuff.”

Q.: Is there training available to learn the software quickly?

A.: We have user manuals and web videos available plus unlimited telephone support is included with a current license. All new clients who purchase a full license are entitled to a free one-hour dedicated online training session. Additional dedicated training sessions are available for a fee. We can also send out representatives for on-site training. This would be especially important to large offices who might be switching from other software providers. All training sessions are provided at a reasonable cost.

Q.: How do you provide support for your software?

A.: You can reach us by e-mail, fax or phone. If you call, you will usually get a human on the first try. If you do get voicemail, we will call you back promptly. This support is included in your license purchase. As long as your license is up to date, there is no additional charge for this service.

Q.: How much does technical support cost?

A.: Technical support is included in your license purchase. We are glad to walk you through filing electronically. If you would like a dedicated extended training session, we are happy to provide that for an additional charge.
