Periodically users need to update either their CM/ECF username or password with the court. The same change will also need to take place in BankruptcyPRO®.
To change your CM/ECF information, open a case in BankruptcyPRO. Go to the File menu and select Open ECF File Manager for Case. At the bottom of the ECF File Manager window click on FlashFiling2 or Flash Events.
Clicking either button will open either the ECF FlashFiling or Flash Events screen. At the top of the window is the ECF login dialog where users will enter their login and password. Checking the corresponding check box gives users the option to save their username and passwords in BankruptcyPRO.
On the ECF FlashFiling screen, click on the Go File Case button to file the new case. On the Flash Events screen, click on Bankruptcy Events to log into the court’s website.
